A message from the board:
We note, the Persian Cultural Association of South Australia was established some decades ago.
There is ongoing community engagement and discussion on constitutional amendments to address a variety of structural challenges faced by the association, its contributing members, and the needs of the community we hope to serve.
The current board is aware of community concerns about various clauses of the conditions of membership (derived from the current Constitution), and is eagerly working to bring the association into closer alignment with the contemporary needs of community members.
For transparency, the current conditions of membership are noted.
Notwithstanding the abovementioned, the current conditions of membership as of October 2025 are:
Condition of membership
Any Person
(a) who is Persian-Australian, in particular Persian who lives in South Australia.
(b) who is interested in the Persian Culture, Language and Literature;
(c) who is at least sixteen years of age;
(d) who accepts to be bound by the constitution and rules of the Association;
shall become a member of the Association.
